Can't get over jealousyWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male Hi,Iv known my girlfriend for 2 years, not very well, meeting maybe once every 2 months as friends, then we got close about 7 months ago, and decided to be together. We fell in love, and see each other once every 2 weeks for a few days (Long Distance Relationship). Everything was great, until the last few weeks. I started ringing her all the time, so i knew where she was, and what she was up to. All her friends tease her because i "check up on her"..but i just care and love to hear her voice, i find it so hard to be away from her for weeks on end, i lov her so much. She doesnt seem that bothered but i she says she loves me too. She gets sick of me telling her to take care of herself and keep safe, but isnt that just loving her? Last night, she went to a party had a few drinks and forgot me, i was having a particuarly bad night (the flu) and couldnt sleep, i jusst needed her to take care of me but she didnt contact me until the morning. I know she didnt do anything at this party, so my jealousy is illogical. I got angry in the morning, and now she says she'll leave me unless i stop this. I try so hard, but it keeps coming back, and i go back into the old routine. I never used to do it, whats changed? How do i stop?
