Mother sounds ok to meWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female Hi...I'm a 17 year old female...my mom just found out that I lost my virginity to my boyfriend. One day she flips and says "you are no longer allowed in his room! I'm going to talk to his mom!" and the next she's calm and cool about it and offers to take me to get birth control. The thing is that I am going to be 18 in october and she threatens to control my actions then. I love my boyfriend and I wouldn't have lost my virginity to him if I didn't love him and if he didn't love me...my question is how can I talk to my mom about this so she can trust my judgement more and trust my actions.thanks User Submitted Advice from a 21-30 year old Female Talk to Her just tell her what you told us the truth and what your heart feels. the inital shock was probably hard to deal with she had to think it over (about when she was young)- ask her.
