We're Friends - I Want to Ask Her OutWe often have visitors write in with solutions to each others' problems. Here is a visitor's solution to one of our visitor's questions. Original Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male this question has been asked a couple of times before, but my situation is a little different. i'm 18 and in college, and i'm extremely shy (with everyone, but especially girls) and completely inexperienced with the opposite sex. i feel like the only 18 year old left on the planet that has never been on a date or done anything with a girl. i don't talk to girls, and girls don't talk to me, so there is no one to ask out even if i wanted to...with one exception... my best friend is a girl she is the only girl that has ever talked to me in my entire life. and we've been friends for 3 years now, and as we've gotten closer over the years, i've started to really like her. she doesn't know that i do, and she doesn't have a boyfriend. the problem is that because of my inexperience, i don't know what to do. i want to ask her out, but i don't know how, or even if it is a good idea in the first place, because i don't want to ruin our friendship, she is the only female contact i've ever had. the other option is that i could ask her to set me up with one of her friends, which she probably would do consdering she knows all about my previous girl troubles, but i don't know how to do that. i'm just an inexperienced guy looking for some advice on what to do?
