Love and Romance in France @ RomanceClass:
The French Kiss

Background of the French Kiss
The French Kiss is hugely popular in romantic stories. In Grease, the teenage girls hang around talking about the French Kiss. Just what is this kiss, and what's so special about it?

Back in the 1950s, when couples were supposedly sleeping in separate beds and love was chaste and pure, a kiss was a gentle touch and nothing more. The "French Kiss" was in reality the normal kiss for most of the world, and certainly the norm in the 70s and beyond!

In essence, the big difference between a quiet "brotherly" kiss and the passionate "French" kiss is that a French kiss involves an open mouth. Your tongues touch. If you haven't done this before, it may sound a bit gross. Believe me, once you try it, you'll change your mind quickly.

Preparation for a French Kiss
You are of course talking about having two open mouths. So you want your mouth to be CLEAN. This is NOT a good idea right after eating. So before you go out with this person, brush your teeth! Gargle with mouthwash. Drink lots of water. You want this to be a very pleasant experience so that you can do it again!

Getting Started with the French Kiss
OK, you and your partner are now facing each other and you sense the kiss coming on. You tilt your head to the side so your noses don't crash into each other and the lips start out by touching softly. So far so good. Now slightly part your lips and gently stroke your partner's lower lip with your tongue. Just a soft touch. Then wait a moment, then do it again. Now stroke the top lip. You should be getting some reaction from this :) If your partner hasn't opened his/her lips yet, it might be time to gently slide your tongue in between them and slip in.

The Full French Kiss
Now that your tongue is in your partner's mouth, it's time to have fun! Remember when you were a kid and were fascinated by different tastes and textures? This is the same thing! Run your tongue over his/her teeth. Explore how the tongue feels. Start doing small circles around the tongue. Run your tongue down the length of your partner's tongue, as far back as you can reach. Then circle it again. You'll find that you can French Kiss for hours!
