Unrequited love is bittersweet. It's not uncommon. It's just something one has to come to terms with.
No-one would actually want to share their lives with someone who didn't care for them, so, they wait, and they hope that, in time, they will fall in love again ~ with someone who wants to share their life and make them happy.
