Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Well me and my gf of over a year had a bad break up last month. We lived together, and honestly because of issues i had i made things difficult. She was constantly coming home depressed or staying out late with friends. After a break she decided to call it off, she was happier without me. Soon after she started dating this guy from work whos 8 years older than her (23 and 31). She cut off all contact from me yet i constantly called and emailed her for almost 3 weeks asking her to reconsider. Well then i stopped and occassionally emailed her while she was out of the country for 3 weeks and even had two online chats with her. On the last she said she was sorry for the way things worked out and said that was the last time she was going to contact me. I started working on me after the first 3 weeks by traveling, doing adventurous things, and quitting smoking. She also told me that she had a problem i had a kid and was married once before, she was cool with it and knows its a part of my past before, and that my daughter has a good family now with the ex and her new fiance.
Basically i'm lost, i want her back, but not holding my breath and have no idea where to go from here. Practicing no contact is tough, but i'm doing it. She really does seem happier now. Any advice?

RomanceClass.com Advice
I am sorry you are in such a tough situation.

She has made it clear that she wants no more contact with you.

But, now that more time has passed, perhaps she would be willing to talk with you once a week for 15 mins so you could find out how she is doing and you can show that you care for her. If she will accept this idea, be cheerful when you talk with her and don't mention your past relationship.

My advice is to expect the worse but hope for the best. Also, get out there and meet new girls... they are everywhere and also hoping to meet Mr Right.

Good luck! George
