We Fought - I was Violent - Now What?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old FemaleI was so in love with this guy he was one year older than i was. we lived together for as long as we were together which is two years. one day we started growing distant and he started pushing me i called the cops on him i ended getting arrested cause i was more aggressive, supposably. i sat in jail for 4 days and when i got out he had packed up all of my stuff. so i went to live with my sister clear across the coutry.
I call him but he has too much anger built up towards me to want to talk things out. I know he with other women but won't admit it to me. I love him and i'am trying to change not just for him but for myself too. i want to show him that i'am getting help for my anger issues and problems i have had in the past. I want him back but i don't know what to say or do. He cusses at me, tells me he doesn't want to be with me, but i know how much we have gone through and even the roughest times we always made it through.
what can i do to try and win my love back?
RomanceClass.com AdviceIt's a wonderful thing that you are trying to work out your own issues - but the fact that he is blaming you for everything really means this isn't going to work. He was equally involved in that fight it seems - and now he's busy swearing at you. He has his own issues and if he is not willing to work on them, then it will never be a good relationship.
Work on making yourself happy. Leave yourself open so that you can find new relationships. If you two had a lot of rough times in the past, it really isn't a good sign. A relationship should be about love and respect, not about yelling, screaming, rough times and going to jail. Look to find someone new that can really be a good partner for you.
