How can we be together and not hurt our kids?
Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old FemaleI'm still in love with my ex after 16 years. Were both married and have chilren but want to be with each other!
How can we be together and not hurt our kids? He's also in California and I'm in Florida! Please help me!!!We love each other more now than ever but can't live with the fact that our children will get hurt the most! What can we do?
RomanceClass.com AdviceYou need to see a professional counsellor and quick.
You can't split up two families without the children getting hurt. You and your ex could make the sacrifice and stop contacting each other.
Meanwhile think of these questions:
Who will get custody of the kids?
Where will you live?
What about financial considerations?
How will your family and friends react?
Are you should your new relationship will work out?
Your b/f should ask himself the same questions and get counselling too.
This is a severely important step you are considering.
Good luck! George
